For years, I fought against the need to rest. Society tells us that busy = productive = valuable, and when I couldn’t keep up, I felt guilty.

But here’s what I’ve learned: Resting isn’t lazy—it’s survival.

💜 Crohn’s drains energy in ways people can’t see. It’s not just “feeling tired.” It’s bone-deep exhaustion.
💜 Pushing through a flare only makes it worse. Trust me, I’ve tried. And my body always forces me to slow down eventually.
💜 Healing requires rest. It’s not a luxury—it’s a necessity.

Now? I listen to my body. I rest when I need to. And I refuse to feel guilty about it.

Because taking care of myself isn’t lazy—it’s an act of strength.

Stay Strong.
