When a Crohn’s flare hits, my survival kit is the only thing that gets me through.

Heating pad – My best friend during cramps. Sometimes, I walk around with it plugged in like a lifeline.

Epsom salt bath – Soothes muscle aches and helps me relax when everything hurts.

Electrolyte drinks – Flare days = dehydration. I keep electrolyte packets handy to avoid feeling worse.

Soft blanket and comfy clothes – If I’m going to feel like garbage, I might as well be cozy.

Peppermint tea – Helps with nausea and stomach discomfort. Also makes me feel fancy.

Probiotics and gut-friendly supplements – I’ve found a few that help (always check with your doctor first).

A distraction – Whether it’s a good book, a funny show, or scrolling memes, sometimes you just need an escape.

Flares are brutal, but these little comforts help just enough to get through them.

Stay Strong.
