Learn about Crohn’s Disease –

My husband complains that “it’s always one thing or another,” which bothers me more than anything considering he is supposed to be my number one supporter right?  Well, honey–it is always one thing or another, you never know how the day will treat you with Crohn’s Disease.  I can’t control it. I can’t forecast or prepare for Crohn’s Disease or the pain that is associated with it.

Do the meds work? Maybe for some but not for me. Do my natural supplements work? Yes, sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t.  Crohn’s Disease is the silent killer, unfortunately, I can not see what is going on inside me.  I can be feeling great, then within a day or two can suffer from major flare-ups.  I can go 3 months, 3 weeks or 3 days in remission. Or, I can be chronic for months at a time. It’s very hurtful that he and others that don’t understand the severity of the disease simply dismiss it as if it were just PMS or a cold.  My husband just sees it as “another complaint.”

For those who are uneducated as to our symptoms or how debilitating Crohn’s Disease really is, here is another video that may help you understand a little better.

This chronic inflammatory gastrointestinal condition can have a devastating impact on a person’s life. While there is no cure for crohn’s disease, it is manageable with the right treatment options.
